Heart Health Month
February is Heart Health Month! Show your support by wearing red on National Wear Red Day®, February 7th, and learn about the risk factors for heart disease in women.
High blood pressure, obesity and diabetes are common conditions that increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. African Americans are 30% more likely to die from heart disease than non-Hispanic whites.


37th Annual Black Nurses Day on Capitol Hill
Mark your calendars for the 37th Annual Black Nurses Day on Capitol Hill on February 6th, 2025. This important event brings together Black nurses from across the country to advocate for health equity and policy changes.



Ramadan Mubarak
Ramadan, is a holy month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community for Muslims worldwide. Muslims fast each day of Ramadan from dawn to dusk. This year Ramadan is expected to begins in the evening February 28th or March 1st, (based on sighting of the new moon), and end March 29th, 2025. We extend our warmest wishes to all who observe.
